Product Description
Vanton Thermoplastic Pumps
Vanton Thermoplastic pumps are chemically resistant pumps perfect for chemical pumping or chemical transfer applications. Vanton chemical pump models include:
- vertical centrifugal pumps
- horizontal centrifugal pumps
- rotary peristaltic pumps
- non-metallic engineered systems including vertical sump, horizontal centrifugal, or peristaltic pumps
Vanton Chemical Pumps offer thermoplastic construction, with ANSI certification and mag-drive technology available.
Vanton Pump Thermoplastic Construction
All Vanton pump models feature thermoplastic construction. The wet end components are made from corrosion and abrasion resistant engineered plastics including polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). These completely inert thermoplastics are impervious to acids, caustics, salts, solvents, chlorides, halogens, and other aggressive, abrasive chemicals that can attack pumps made of metals, plastic or rubber lined metals, and fiberglass reinforced plastics.
Vanton's chemically inert thermoplastic components do not corrode like stainless steel, Hastelloy® and other high alloys do. Vanton Thermoplastic Pumps are designed to provide long, trouble-free service while preventing the contamination of reagent-grade chemicals and other ultrapure fluids.
Vanton ANSI Pumps
Several models of Vanton Chem-Guard pumps are available in ANSI configuration. Vanton ANSI Pumps meet ANSI B73.1 standards. Some are available with ANSI centerline suction and discharge to fit where conventionally sealed ANSI pumps were installed, without disturbing existing piping.
Vanton Mag-Drive Technology
Vanton Mag-Drive Pumps include the CHEM-GARD® CGM and CGMC models.
- CGM Vanton mag-drive pumps are volute type end suction process pumps
- CGMC Vanton mag-drive pumps are close-coupled end suction process pumps
Both feature a seal-less, single-stage, centrifugal design. All fluid contact components are molded of homogenous polypropylene or PVDF. The stand alone, chemically inert, abrasion-resistant thermoplastic components eliminate pinpoint porosity, substrate separation and wear associated with plastic lined pumps.
