Side entry mixers are used to blend or homogenize liquids, or to keep sludge from settling in the bottom of a tank. Plenty side entry mixers include fixed angle, swivel angle, and TMH models.
Fixed Angle Side Entry Mixers
Blending side entry mixers are available in belt or gear drive, and are used for blending, homogenizing, and temperature uniformity.
Swivel Angle Side Entry Mixers
Crude oil (BS&W) mixers are available in belt or gear drive, and are used for tank cleaning or to prevent sludge from settling in your tanks.
TMH Side Entry Mixers
Belt driven TMH mixers are available in a range of durable mixers for blending, storage, or homogeneity for oils and distillations.
Plenty Mixer Advantages
Plenty offers specialized services for mixing applications, including Startup and Commissioning, and CFDs. Plenty mixers have a unique tank lock out design, which allows you to accomplish any mixer repairs, including a mechanical seal change, without draining your tank. In addition, Plenty mixers are available with Leak Detection, a variety of mechanical seal options, several material of construction, and automatic swivel actuators.
Startup and Commissioning
A certified Plenty service technician can supervise installation and configuration for startup. This ensures a productive, effective start-up that meets planned operation dates.
CFDs
Plenty’s research and design center has the capacity to generate Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) theoretical models. CFD analysis can help with testing mixer performance, reliability, and condition.
Leak Detection
Plenty mixers are offered with both single and double mechanical seals to prevent oil leaks. Plenty also has an economical leakage detection system that can alert the operator of leakage past the mechanical seal by collecting the leakage, containing it within a collection vessel equipped with a level sensor, and activating an alarm in the control room.
